Overview

Erectile Dysfunction Doctor Service

The Cialis film-coated tablet is an efficient treatment, which is indicated to treat erectile dysfunction for adult men.

This is when a man cannot get, or keep a hard, erect penis suitable for sexual activity.

It contains the active substance tadalafil which belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors.

Cialis has been shown to significantly improve the ability of obtaining a hard erect penis suitable for sexual activity.

Following sexual stimulation, Cialis works by helping the blood vessels in your penis to relax, allowing the flow of blood into your penis. The result of this is improved erectile function. Cialis will only work when you are sexually stimulated.

At least one in ten men has trouble getting or keeping an erection at some time. There may be physical or psychological causes, or a mixture of both. Whatever the cause is, due to muscle and blood vessel changes not enough blood stays in the penis to make it hard and keep it hard.

Cialis is a safe and efficient treatment which allows you to obtain an erection, when sexually stimulated, at any time point during the 24 hours of the day.

Once a day dosing of Cialis may be useful to men who anticipate having sexual activity two or more times per week.

FAQ

What Is Erectile Dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction is something that most men will experience at some point in their lives. While this can be a short-term condition caused by things like alcohol, stress, or tiredness, some men will experience erectile dysfunction over a longer period of time. This can be due to a physical or emotional cause.

What Causes Erectile Dysfunction?

Small blood vessels supply the penis, and when a man is sexually aroused, an increase in blood flow into the penis causes the penis to stiffen. Erectile dysfunction can happen if these vessels are blocked in any way. Because the vessels are so thin, blockages can occur easily.

Things like smoking, high cholesterol, diabetes and lack of exercise can all have an effect on these blood vessels. Erectile dysfunction symptoms could also be down to emotional or psychological causes, such as anxiety or depression. Sometimes erectile dysfunction may be a side effect of being on certain medication.

Health issues can also contribute to erectile dysfunction. Circulation problems can mean blood struggles to reach the penis and problems like hormonal imbalances, groin injuries, or low mood have also been known to have an effect on a man’s ability to achieve an erection.

If you’ve regularly been experiencing erectile dysfunction, please speak to a pharmacist or your GP.

What Is Cialis?

Cialis is a prescription medicine taken by mouth for the treatment of:

  • men with erectile dysfunction (ED)
  • men with symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
  • men with both ED and BPH

What Is The Most Important Information I Should Know About Cialis?

Cialis can cause your blood pressure to drop suddenly to an unsafe level if it is taken with certain other medicines. You could get dizzy, faint, or have a heart attack or stroke. Never take Cialis with any nitrate or guanylate cyclase stimulator medicines.

How long before sex should I take Cialis?

If you are using Cialis 10mg or Cialis 20mg then you should take ONE tablet at least half an hour before you expect to begin intimacy. If you are using Cialis Daily, you will be taking the medication once a day at the same time everyday and doing so whether you foresee having sex or not. Cialis Daily provides 24-hour erectile potency.

How Long Does Cialis Last For?

Cialis lasts for up to 36 hours after taking the medication. Cialis Daily provides ongoing erectile difficulty support with day-to-day increased responsiveness to stimulation provided you take the medication exactly as directed.

Are there any differences between Cialis and Viagra?

Both Viagra and Cialis feature similar chemical constituencies and function in much the same way to allow men to overcome erectile difficulties. The primary difference between Cialis and Viagra is in how long they continue to be effective for the man.

Viagra can be effective for up to 4 hours after taking the medication, while Cialis has a much longer window of effectiveness – up to 36 hours.
