What is the ingredient of Anusol Plus Suppositories?

Anusol Plus contains multiple active ingredients:
Hydrocortisone acetate is a type of medicine that works by reducing inflammation, which reduces swelling and itching.
Meanwhile, Bismuth oxide, bismuth subgallate, balsam peru and zinc oxide have mild antiseptic, protective and astringent properties (this means they constrict blood vessels). Balsam peru is also believed to promote the growth of new skin cells.

How do I use Anusol Plus Suppositories?

Anusol Plus Suppositories should be used in the morning, before bed and after a bowel movement. However you should not use the ointment for more than 4 times a day.

• Insert one suppository into the back passage at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement
• Not recommended for children.
• If your symptoms persist consult your doctor.
• Do not take orally.
